I understand that it is important as a blogger to show pictures of all fantastic hotel rooms you staying in. This is the top floor room ( 1 story high), so it could be called the penthouse. To keep me company I had some black ants. A bit anoying when they insisted to spoon with me in bed.
I should not bag this hotel. The room was only 55 $.

This picture show the big ships who sailed up the river back in the days and also a flooding. The pub is under water.

Roches Family Hotel was built around 1870/71 and has been owned and operated by the Campton Family. Roches is the oldest hotel operating continuously on the same premises in the Grafton area. I loved the hotel despite my friends in the room. Roches are known for their pub meals that are delicious.

I tried their slow cooked ribs and was not dissapointed. The owner had a Coopers Red (Australian beer) with me and he told me that he was a biker too riding a BMW 1600 GT. I also meet his wife who had visited Sweden back in the 80’s. It is a true family hotel.
Congratulations on starting a blog, Jocke! Your photos are great and you seem to be currently living a life of adventure with The Beast.
Looking forward to more posts!
