St Patrick’s day, or from now on Meilea and Jockes wedding day. I had the honor of being both bestman and toastmaster. It was a different kind of wedding and I am glad to have been there. The wedding was relaxed, filled with happiness and love and emotional music. It started with a delay of 40 minutes as the bride was stuck in traffic. Once the ceremony was completed we drank “Tasmanian Champagne” and ate smörgårdstårta (sandwish cake).
The Swedish church offers a lot. In the café you can buy home baked bread, Swedish candy and other Swedish groceries. The church also has a pool which the kids took the opportunity to use. The night continued and ended in St Kilda. A very relaxed and different wedding.
