The ride started around 11 today and at 12.45 I entered Victoria. You see a huge change in road conditions. The roads in Victoria are in much better maintained.
Before I left Merimbula I visited the food festival next to my hostel I stayed in. 27 different stands wher you could try food, beer and wine to the music of different local teenagers. Most dishes were 10 dollars.
After almost four hours I arrived in Bairnsdale. It offered my som unwanted rain for a while, but I survived. You could see and smell the legacy from the bush fires. The sky was grey and you could feel the smoke smell everywhere.
