I always get this warm feeling when I visit Melbourne. It was our home for two years and know mt way around dispite the size of this city. Being awarded “most livable city in the world” for many many years is well deserved.
The last leg on this trip before taking the ferry to Tasmania was a boring three hour ride. The roads are good with long straights. I did not take all the scenic routes to make it more fun. I just wanted to arrive.
I found an Airbnb apartment next to Chapel street in Toorak. Chapel street was known for its fashion stores and a reputation of being posh. The high rents have now resulted in several empty stores reade to be let. It is still a nice area.
I am home… in my second home.
